MOSS 040 - Danny Potpourri’s 'Leaves Room' was recorded in the basement and it sounds that way. But probably not a dank basement. I imagine a chill basement with wood panelling. Maybe there’s an Atari down there. These tracks were recorded on his handbuilt modular system. ‘Leaves Room’ oscillates between tense mood pieces and upbeat zone trips. There’s a melancholic sense of adventure and wonder in each piece. Sprawling yet intimate.
